Sorry Flash ... but a couple of us walked by your RV this morning and heard the god-awfullest snoring, sounded like the roof was cavin' in.
I tried to tell Chris it wasn't you makin' all that racket but he wouldn't listen ... just stood there gigglin' . Anyway, we figger'd you wasn't gonna fire up the grill for a couple diesel bums like us and decided we better scoot on over to the chow hall if we wanted any breakfast.

8 pm and the sun is still up ... sure screws up my internal clock. I should have ate and get ready to hit the rack, but it ain't happenin that way these days. End up goin' to bed around midnight and up again at 0430. Oh well ... the new office has a light switch and a door ... just the solution for that problem right after lunch.

Got one of those calls you never want just as I was headed out the door for work this morning from my mom back in PA. Ambulance took dad to the hospital last night with chest pains/sweating. EKG (after nitroglycerine) looked ok, scheduled a stress test for today. 1230 AM it started over, 0330 they put him in for a quintuple (5) bypass surgery. Was just coming out of it when mom called. Supposed to be OK, they want to release him on Monday.

Your family is in our prayers Rob.

My mother-in-law had the quintuple bypass and came through it great. My dad had a triple several years ago and at 77 years old he is still pipe fitting. Both of them felt so much better after the surgery. It’s amazing what the doctors can do now a days.

Keep us posted on your dad’s progress.

Thanks Flash, we appreciate it.
It is also very reassuring to hear about how many people have actually had this type of surgery (like your MIL and dad) and gone on to lead active lifestyles
That is my dad's problem, he doesn't have an active lifestyle. The hardest thing for him after he gets out and starts to recover will be the lifestyle changes that he needs to do (diet, exercise etc).

Tough way to start the day Rob.
But now-a-days that's almost a routine procedure that the Docs can perform with one hand tied behind their back.
I'll say a prayer for Sky-6 to keep an eye on the Doc and a healing hand on your father.

Kepp us in the loop.

I will be keeping your dad in my thoughts Rob. He sounds like he's in good hands. Hang in there.

Thinkin about going for a bicycle ride / beer wobble before it gets too dark. If I don't show up later, send out the search party ... I am probably lost in Switzerland or Pacmanistan somewhere !!

he kept diggin the nasty thing outta the trash so I had to take matters into my own hands .... went through 2 bottles of disinfectant afterwards.

Hey, Chris, you tried - good job. Oh well, day is long gone past biscuit time. Moving toward supper shortly.

Rob - - sorry about your dad, but glad the report is good. Been there, done that - - it ain't fun. Now, tell him watch that diet and cholesterol. I have mine in the sewer it is so low. There are lots of tricks to keeping it down. Quite an education - - wish I had learned it sooner since my father had the same thing and it took him down. Here that, Rob - - it's called heredity - - watch yours also no matter how young you are. My son is 47, was starting to have some problems - - very slim build and quite active. Cholesterol was 250 - - six months later it is 139.

Working all day - - just came in to shower and catch up with ya'll. Sounds like a slow day - - that is not a bad thing once in a while. Oh well, maybe biscuits in the morning.
