Morning boyz,

Double dose of the good stuff today. Maxwell House, non of that foo-foo stuff. Nice warm up this week, with it pushing 40, I can finish my stonework. I've been building a stone, kneewall for a foundation for an addition I've been working on. Just about finished with the concrete work. I have a couple small ones to place and a little leveling to do, then I can frame it for windows. Would like to get in some bird hunting, now that deer season is done, but Kaley got a bad scratch on her eye last month and isn't quite healed yet.

Morning all. Dennis, must be a slow morning eh? Lary, thanks for the sunblock. Make sure it is good quality and a high number. I will be out in the sun all day today digging a small ditch to lay some 1" ABS. About a 600 foot ditch. Need help. Come on down and I will share my sun block with you. And my jalapeño sandwiches. You bring the doughnuts.

Hey Stan, how about coming up and helping me poor a slab before the deep freeze sets in, then I'll come help dig ditches for a winter break.

Redleg, you should have asked earlier. Then I would have. Now it is just too darn cold in your neck of the woods for me. But you are still welcome to come down during your winter and work down here.

I'd have you working so hard, you'd only be wearing a sweaty t-shirt. Besides, when was the last time you got to sit next to a big wood burner, watching DVD's and drinking totties (or coffee)?

what we have here is a failure to communicate. A failure to communicate properly. We need some good old genuine Shortround **** chewing! We shall spoon feed and idiot proof until there is no more thinking going on. We can't have thinking going on here at work. Teach them to use something, they don't listen, they break it, don't tell anyone, stays broken, then complain to me about it being broken and this is the excuse for the job not getting done >. I would love to perform some attitude adjustment by barking obscenities and planting my 13 Dr. Marten firm and deep. HOWEVER, I would be promptly relieved of my position. SO, I type this instead.......fade to smoke rolling from ears and eyes buldging from head.............................................. .......

Just about got this crud whipped.
Went home early Wednesday. Being sick was a good excuse for not attending the "required" social event sponsored by the local Political Kissing Association. Broke out a tumbler (here in the south they are refered to as Mason jars), dropped in a hand full of ice cubes, and very carefully, using the distance between my extended thumb and little finger, poured two finger of scotch in it. ;D Got out of the uniform and into sweats and sucked it down and slid under the covers. 14 hours and two sheet changes later I got up feeling like a new person.
If modern medicine don't work, revert to the tried and true method.

Good morning. The traffic was minimal this morning, Light lake-effect coming down, coffee is outstanding, good batch of cinnamon donuts, phones and radio are quiet, got my Log Home Magazine.....has to be some incentive for getting stuck working most weekends.

Wow, at least Redleg is up this "late" on a fine Saturday morning. Trouble is, sounds like you are working. Well, with that funny white stuff coming down, I don't blame you staying inside. That stuff is not good for your health, whatever it is.
Working on the fiver today - - heavier wiring on the battery side of the inverter. Man, ever work with 4/0 cable - - not fun? One more cable to go and done. Hopefully no more "low voltage" dropouts.
Have a good one - - stay warm up north. Not fun sliding around on your rear end unless it is parked on a tobaggan.

Good Morning DTR

Shoveling snow on a day off. Now its coming down harder than ever. The worst part is that around here, 3" of snow paralyzes the entire region. I'm from Michigan, and this is pathetic. Don't feel like driving in it either due to all the morons out getting their "idiot qualifications" completed.

Redleg Too bad no salmon to smoke but go to the river and get some steelhead and smoke em up. Better than salmon anyhow. I smoked about 200 lbs of steelies this year and canned another 110 pints. been taking those smoked fish and vaccume packing them in about 3/4 pound pkgs. and keep them in the coldrawer or the refridge. they keep a long time
