Hey Red - yes, trout fishing...open all the time here...fish hatchery on the mountain :
...Put and Take :-X....They stock by Helicopter in remote areas....this is when the Kayak comes in handy. Native fish are few and far between....
We had some snow on the mountain 1 - 2 inches...
One wrong move with weather this cold and you are in serious trouble.
Today is going great...even for a Monday... ;D

Naaah, up here you can expect to go under once in awhile, just keep a change of clothes in the truck and go back fishing. Last time I went under, I had so much gear on, my gore-tex coat was stretch over the waders. I only really got wet up the sleaves, and a little in the collar. We still have some good "native" fishing up here. The Pere Marquette River here recieved the first Browns from Germany. They use to stock the rivers here by train. You a fly tier?

I haven't chatted around the watercooler for a while.
Been kinda busy lately, seems like all I do is work 10 hours, sleep 4, work another 10, sleep another 4.
Picture if you will moving a Television station 5 miles across town, while staying on the air like nothing is happening the whole time.
Lost a couple of minutes of Football games yesterday (20 minutes of dead air :
).
Had Color Bars flash on the air when they're really not supposed to a couple times.
Both, of course, when I was home sleeping, and the reason they only authorized 4 hours of sleep for me.
Posting this at the rearward end of another 10 hours of work, looking forward to that 4 hours tonight.
Might even slip in an extra one, and hope they don't notice.
And of course, my truck is picked the TOM for the month I'll most likely be online the least. :'(
And, we seem to have misplaced the water coolers, must have left them in the old building.
I'm kinda thirsty all of a sudden.
phox

I know all about the "We gotta move, but we can't shut down".
I see that all the time here.
I just ask them when was the last time they took an airplane flight while the mechanic was overhauling the aircraft. :

Congrats on the TOM. ;D

Seems to be a donut shortage here too. 2nd day with no donuts...I think I'm going into withdrawals. I can't seem to knock these bugs off my arm.

...if you get the last cup, make another pot!
OK. I'm going to get biscuits shortly... and some coffee. Who wants a buscuit? Fax machine works great ;D.

Woah! Chilly temps this AM.
(for here anyway)
Forecasting the possibility of some white stuff tomorrow night.
(probably won't be able to find Bread, Milk, or Toilet Paper in the stores this evening.
)
Cardboard radiator shield dropped in last night, helped get the heat circulating a little quicker. ;D
Stay Safe.

I'm here and ain't real happy about it. There is all together too much racket this early in the day. Ain't even got the coffee pot fired off and SOMEONE is raising cane.
Lovely rainy day and shipping it off to the right side of the country as fast as I can.
Have to go to one of those "all personnel required to attend" lunches today. To top it off, we have to pay for the meal. Ain't it great to see what some people do just to show off their empire. I don't even associate with 90% of them during working hours and see even less reason to associate with them during my own lunch time. Welcome to the holidays.
