Everyone up here on the south beach of the Arkansas River.
Auto can unlock code has been transmitted.
Been up since 0400 bagging flour. Got to make a delivery in about an hour. Couple a hundred lbs, so not a bad day.
Waiting on the cold to arrive. Only 36 this morning with temps dropping to the mid teens tonight. That's after a mid 50 high. Screwy weather. Got the better half plenty of firewood so she doesn't have to crank the thermostat up to 80. Think she has lots of lizard blood in her.
Short week next week, I hope. Making a run to the sprawling metropolis of Webbers Falls, OK to pick up a load of hard red wheat. It'll be a nice day alone with the wife and truck. If she gets too rowdy, I'll just set the tach on 2200 and listen to the pipes and some old Boston music.
Gotta git. Burning daylight here. See y'all on the flipflop.

"Auto can unlock code has been transmitted"?
Your latrine has a security system? You must not have that "sense of urgency" some old soldiers are prone too.....

Can't believe I'm back this morning. 12 hours yesterday. Roads turned to ice last night, got busy for awhile. Eyes are like 2 P-holes in the snow. Extra scoop in the coffee pot.

JKE, go through it here too. Mom's a Monday through Friday state employee and can't understand why I can't get certain days off or know what my schedule looks like 6 months out......

Mornin' campers.
My first whole day off since 05 Dec.
Typing very quietly 'cuz Wifey is still asleep after coming in at 0130 this morning following a 12 hour shift at the Post Office.
I have a whole new appreciation of the USPS after working there for a week.

Might try to finally do a little shopping today.
I Hate Malls.

Whenever Wifey wakes up, we're gonna hit the local All-U-Can-Eat breakfast buffet.
MMmmmm, sausage gravy & biscuts.

SR, I thought I was the only one that still listened to Boston.
Found my long lost (for the last 6 months) Styx & Bon Jovi CDs in the daughter's CD player last night.

Y'all B safe

Good morning to you all,

Gonna see LOTS of sunshine, maybe hit 75 here....Coffee's good, Baby's just up.

Just finished up the gauge install yesterday afternoon. That was a job and a half!

Wish I knew before the install what I know now...I do not like my choice of gauge position, EGT////BOOST////TRANNY Oh well they look really good during the day at nite the Boost lite is very dim.

Hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday season...

Forgot to mention: Annual Chex mix is in the oven right now!!!! Does anyone know, do you put the M&M's in before you bake or after?

Pass the Chex please, I got the coffee. Would be good right about now. Wind blowing about 25-30 mph and snowing sideways. Supposed to be about 5 for a low tonight. Glad I'm at work, wifey is dealing with the horses this morning.

Still trying to figure out my throttle problem, guess the temp tonight will help me figure out what is freezing.

Have a good week all,

ED

SH,
Love the old stuff. Got one with them playing with the London philharmonic. The bass from the exhaust is a good complement to their strings.

Changed the oil in the Beast earlier this evening.
Started raining as I finished cleaning up and parked her back on the street.
Daughter just came in and informed me that there's fluffy white stuff fallin' outside.

Now where in the heck did I put the snow blower?

G-G-G-G-ooooood Mmmmm-orning from the AAaaarctic circle.
A VERY cold 9 degrees this AM with sustained 20 mph winds gusting to ~30-35 mph.

Could'nt plug the Beast in last night due to Wifey getting home after I had crashed for the night.
The Cummins fired right up (batteries are still good....whew), but made some noises I ain't heard before.
Even with the cardboard blocking the radiator, the temp needle barely passed the first warm mark on the gauge.

Thermometer on the wall in my office is reading 50*.
The Heat Pump doesn't quit seem up to the task, so I dug out the little Ceramic heater to knock the chill off.

Hey Scotty, you need to come down here and get this peguin that keeps blocking the airflow from my heater.

is tastin' REAL good this morning

good morning. Day #8.5. 18 degrees out this morning...a little brisk is the wind.
Need in a bad way.

NO snow. Had some flurries yesterday. Not enough to trigger the fish. More forcasted later in the week ...maybe that one will make a deposit.

Ya'll have a great day - JKE
