Yikes... I have a similar story that happened to me about a year ago. I had my Makenzie deer archery target in the back yard get destroyed by a buck while I was at work.. I found peices from end of the yard to the neighbors house.

Hope Peta doesn't get ahold of this story. They'll probably get the guy up on charges for animal abuse. The guy should have had a statue of a cow elk, then maybe he could sit in his house & watch the bucks try & get a little.

Exactly. It's an interesting story, but I might be able to find something better to do than wait and watch for it. Instead, I think I'll go watch the truck rust for a while.

I think I'd put the elk back together and then spend $6 at the local sporting goods store. I wonder how much his odds of getting another would go up with a little doe scent spread around?
