Yeah Scotty gets upset when they don't last at least 6 months
I saw a meteor similar to that one streak across the skies in the late 60's, it was higher up though and burned quire a bit longer as it streaked toward the horizon.
Pretty impressive stuff watching the chunks and sparks fall off it as it burned itself up. I don't know if any part of it ever reached the ground but it must have been a pretty good size one for all fireworks it displayed
That one looked like it made it to the ground

Actually what happened was I was trying a new hot sauce on the in-cab George Foremen Grill. I put a bit too much on and the end result was what you see there. I'm not telling what was on fire either.
I did not get any audio on that clip but it must have been near Edmonton AB...maybe some of the guys there will tell us what happened. Kinda lucky to have the camera rolling when it appeared.
Theres been a few UP HERE too...more often then ever and very late in the year too. Usually we see these in August.
Time for another steak.

I was heading back from Paris Island SC about 12 years ago and saw one drop out of the sky much like the one in the vid posted above, only difference, it was in broad daylight, and still lit the sky up. Don't know if it made it the ground but the blueish green light that came off that thing was amazing

From whats been said in the paper, they expect to find it somewhere in Manitoba. It was estimated to be about 18m across, or around 60 feet. Its a shame I was sleeping when this happened, would've been something to see.

Wow? 60 ft is a heck of a chunk of rock to have land any where even in the same neighborhood as you? I bet it made a heck of a hole when it hit
