Yesterday our 16 year old Whippet, Champion Allerei's Irish Coffee (Irish) lost her 2 year battle with cancer. We think the cancer spread to her brain causing seizures the last 2 months. She was a huge part of our family and she will be missed.

Wonderful and gentle dogs - - great for the family. My son has one - - in fact that little lady will be here with them this weekend. Sorry for your loss.

Thanks everyone for your kind words and thoughts.
FiverBob, you are right that they are great dogs.
Here is a pic of Irish when she was younger and being shown. The redhead is her handler.

Advocate of getting the ban button used on him...
RIP Irish She is a beautiful dog.
It has been a few months now but I lost 3 dogs within 13months. Never easy as they are truly 100% family members for us. Prayers and condolences from here.

I wish I was as fine, as those who work the pipeline!
It is apparent that she was able to touch a lot of lives Keith, Our condolences, just remember - all dogs go to heaven, and by the looks of it Irish is gonna be in the penthouse.

Thank for the kind words, thoughts and prayer for my family and I.
WYODODGE, Irish definitely touched a lot of lives. She was a top 20 Whippet for 4 years. She had several Group wins as well as Whippet Speciality wins.
