I opened up a seperate account just for Paypal transactions. I ALWAYS transfer the money to another account immediately. I would NEVER use my primary checking account because if there is ever an issue they will lock your whole account down until the issue is resolved...

You might get charged 3% or so just like a credit card merchant account. I sold a motorcycle on Ebay and was charged 3%, read the fine print.

If you accept money on paypal they will charge you. If you are the buyer they don't. Setting up the account upgrade to their premier account, ( no cost) or you will not be able to take payments over $500.00. I have countless transactions with them and have never had a problem.
