Grabbing coffee and running... well maybe that last biscuit and sausage link
Taking kiddos skating today .. local arena has $2 skate day , we normally go to a pond that someone clears with bobcat but it's -31c ... they can skate indoors today
Can anyone confirm the size of the rear spindle nut on a D70 ... I have read that it is 2-9/16" , I don't have the old one off to check but the new Dorman double jamb nuts that I have to replace them with are 2-1/2" ... I'm getting ready to order a socket in 1/2" drive so I can do my rear breaks when it warms up and I don't want to find out that I bought the wrong socket or the wrong jamb nuts

Hi gang. Finally slowed down enough to see what did, or did not, happen in the world today. Lots fuming about China and N. Korea collusion. Looks like it is a great thing for China - - nobody is looking at what they are doing down south trying to claim land and waters that are not theirs. GGGRRRR
Hey Lary - - - good ph00 today - - thanks.
Short one today - - gotta take the wife back to her sis's house to relieve our friend who came in to help a bit and give my wife a break. Y'all be good.

+13° and climbing, finally. Only problem is they are predicting low 40°s by mid week along with rain and freezing rain. Just what we need, more ice and less snow.

17° below with -35° wind chill this morning. It's warmed up to a balmy -9° at noon. Propane pressure is so low in the primary tank that the backup tank started feeding the line. That occurs at 8psi. If it gets much colder, we'll have a total shutdown of the gas system. It's happened before.
Went to the truss plant and got a load of saw house scrap. That burns hot and it still took 4 hours to warm the house up 5 degrees from the overnight t-sat setback.
Haven't seen Stan or Bob yet. We sent some of this their way. Maybe their bare feet stuck to the cold sidewalk.
I could use a little of that global warming we were supposed to spend 3 trillion dollars to avoid.

-26F here this morning but is up to a sunny and positive 5 here now.
I am blowing through the wood pile a little too fast after a week of this cold snap.
The house and shop are staying comfortable though.
The daughter and I spent a little time working on our '91 before lunch, we are headed out for another hour or so on it.
J-martin, how did the gas in the fuel tank game go on your 1st gen?

I'm waiting for weather warm enough that I can expect this witches brew to mix up in the tank instead of just blob to the bottom.
Hopefully you won't get a chance to sell me an IP.

You could always slam on the brakes a few time to slosh the contents of the tank around and try and mix up your witches brew.
I don't want to sell a VE pump, so I am hoping it works out fine for you.
My daughter is off to a friend's house for dinner, but we did get our '91 partly reassembled which was fun for us to work on together.
