Happy New Year from "South of the border, down Mexico way". That reminds me, some of you may remember Gene Autry.

Fresh Mexican coffee and American ph00 is ready. Put out a bunch of Johnny Cake as well. Or is that Johnnycake for some of you? Add some maple syrup if you want to. Also an assortment of Mexican style eggs such as Rancheros, Divorced etc. All a bit spicy, but very, very tasty. Naturally there are spicy black beans to go with this. Yummy!

May 2017 be everything that you want it to be and with fewer problems. Do your part to make things happen.

Off with some coffee to make things happen.

Happy New Year, gang. Another year under the carpet - - - amazing. Enjoy it while you can and make your life count - - it is short. Looking at all this "hot" stuff and trying to find something where they forgot the pepper shaker. Oh well, that ph00 will hold me over - - thanks Stan.

2017 been good so far.
Last night, we done our annual NYE 5K instead of partying and followed it up with a 1 hour run this morning to recover.

Coug -- - hate to tell you this, but we broke a record again today. Highest for this date since 1897 - - - 86 degrees. Gorgeous out there. Lower humidity and brilliant blue skies. What a day for laying on the lounge in the lanai and tan a bit.

Good morning from Paradise. Still fantastic weather down here. A bit chilly at sunrise, but shortly after the sun comes up it warms up wonderfully. 25C yesterday afternoon, which is just about perfect. Forecast to go to a high of 27C today which is perfect.

Some Canadians drove down from Manitoba last week and they tell me that when they got to the border, they could not cross due to a large snow drift right at the crossing and that it was necessary to backtrack for a few hours while that was cleared. Been in too many situations like that and it is for reasons like that that I now live where I do.

Time for another coffee and to get my day started.

when you took God out of our schools.

when you confused women's rights with feminism.

when you began to emasculate men.

when you decided to make our children soft.

When you decided to rewrite school history books and remove the truth about our founders

when you decided to vote for progressive ideals.

when you attacked our way of life.

when you took a knee, or stayed seated or didn't remove your hat during our National Anthem.

And we became fed up and we pushed back and spoke up.

And we did it with ballots, not bullets.

With ballots, not riots.

With ballots, not blocking traffic.

With ballots, not fires, except the one you started inside of "us".

"YOU" created "US".

It really is just that simple.
