Re:Northern Folks

I did put on the long pants for the trip downtown.

Didn't need em though, a steamy 20 degrees and I'm walking around breaking a sweat.

Sure was nice to get home and slip into the shorts again.
ahhhhhhhhhhh.

Around 15-18 this morning, out scraping the truck in the shorts and flipflops again.

Once again, I'm pushed to the next page, I must be cursed. :'(

Re:Northern Folks

I couldn't survive any were north of here.

South Ga is tough. Grandparents have a farm outside of Valdosta. Remember working it during the summer ....very high humidity.

Re:Northern Folks

We moved from Minnesota to Kansas City 3 years ago. I lived in MN for 16 years, hated every winter to blasted cold to do anything and I never could understand anyone driving on the ice or sitting on the ice to fish. Lived in Wyoming & Idaho when I was groing up, didn't mind that so much, less humid I think then MN. I don't think I moved far enough south yet, we still get snow here, I'm thinking El Paso.

My dad always had a saying, he hated the cold too, he could never work hard enough in the winter to stay warm, but in the summer could always stop working long enough to cool off.

If you enjoy the cold, more power to ya but I'm going for the warm country.
