Bacon wrapped rib roast medium rare ready for ingestion.
Delightful looking isn't it?
Wasn't mine. This was a great first cook for a friend of mine in his Louisiana Grill.

Dig in!

Mercy Scotty, that looks like heart attack city to me. Wow, look at all that cholesterol rolling around on that plate. UUUMMMMM, it looks good. NO ROBERT, look the other way. Turn your eyes from evil. Bummer, always someone around to be a kill joy. .......................................

Just got back from doctor's office. Have a very heavily infected bladder. Running fever, horrible pains. Up every 15 minutes last night. Not fun at all. Gotta go get my pills and try to kill this mess.

Friend of mine said it was a standing rib roast.
Raised in Saskatchewan. I'm on board with him for a steer next month.
Where are you located in Canada?
That lemon honey sounds awesome!

Stanadian the MexiStan will surface.

I'm over in Alberta... bout an hour from BC border... foothills of the Rockies in a little place called Hinton

You in SK or is that just where the beef is from?

Honey only has a hint of lemon... you really gotta be tasting it to tell it there ... I have no clue where the bees pick up nectar that tastes like that ... all different colors of pollen (yellow, white, purple, red, all shades of orange) ... we have clover in the field as do the neighbors, Alberta rose all in the road side ditches and thistle here and there...

Thus is only my third summer with bees and only the first full harvest of honey ... we took 3-4 quarts last year ... but it's the same this year,

Very clear light golden color ... and a hint of lemony citrus

Anyone else hunting an affordable SUV to keep miles off the diesel this spring? For budget-friendly and easy to wrench, a 2006-or-older Tahoe/Suburban (5.3 without AFM) or a 4th-gen 4Runner/GX470 are hard to beat—GM parts are cheap and the Toyota 4.7 is stout. On the Toyotas, confirm timing belt/water pump history; on the GMs, avoid 2007–2013 AFM models (or plan an AFM delete) and check for rusted brake lines and rear frame areas. Whatever you pick, crawl underneath for leaks, rust, and tired bushings, and plan a basic suspension refresh to make it drive like new.
