My 83 C10 coming out of storage in 2009

Hey guys, i took a couple vids of my 1983 C10 today for the initial start of 2009.

The truck hadnt been run or started since September of 2008.

Nice looking truck! Sounds pretty healthy too! I've been wanting to get an older chevy truck to restore for a while now. I like your alot but if I get one I'd like to find a clean 68-72 chevy or gmc. Friend of mine had a cherry 1972 short bed 2wd Cheyanne and a nice 1987.5 short bed 4x4 C10. The 87 he has is the same color has yours.

i doubt its the SAME color as mine is a custom mixed bright red......but its probably the darker GM red

Nice!

Seeing that brought back some memories. Cruising the towns with the hopped up late 70's and early 80's C10's. And seeing the worlds largest fuel gauge!! Never could understand GM thinking on that. But they did have a nice tach option that replaced the fuel gauge.

Yeha his is some kind of GM red, it has some fancy name to it. to me its just red.

Thats pretty cool to be able to say that when someone asks about your truck. You have your own custom red paint. I just tell people my truck is arrest me red, sounds cool but its just flame red from dodge.
