Map software?
Map software?
I need some software to put on my laptop when I don't have internet access...
I was going to get this Rand McNally street finder deluxe but it has absolutely horrible reviews online...
Anyone have any suggestions?
I just need the basic equivelent of Mapquest on my computer.
This Rand McNally has GPS support so if I wanted I could get the unit that feeds it the coordinates. Not something I need but I wouldn't mind it in the future...

I just installed the Earthmate GPS from DeLorme. Man, is that thing slick. It will even talk to you. Only had it for one day so far but it seems to work real good. It can find places, give you directions and all that stuff. the best thing is it was only $119.00.
If you don't want the GPS part, you can go with the software - Street Atlas 2004. It can be had for about $50.00 or so.
