I'll be glad when your election is over..... this Bush and Kerry bashing on this site is getting old.

 

What? How could the endless Kerry bashing and then the requisite insightful follow-ups (posts containing 'Amen', smiley faces, and tired reposts of every biased bit of Anti-Kerry info ever posted on the Internet) ever get old?

 

They're just jealous. Since Chretien left office in Canada, they don't have anyone to bash.

 

Whadda ya mean? We only need to look at whomever is in power.... right now it is Paul Martin. although Chretien REALLY left a bad taste in a lot of mouthes....

I'm starting to not like coming here. It seams there is an edge to this site now and it is centred around politics. I thought at one time there was a disclaimer on the general forum stating discussion of politics is not allowed. yet every day I come here there is yet another political post of some sort. The sooner the election is over and the faster we can get back to discussing trucks the better. I would suggest there be a separate forum for politics at least then a guy won't be ambushed by some cute opening only to be surporised by yet another sarcastic political story feignly designed to cast one canidate or the other in a bad light....

 

Yup, there's an edge. And honestly I don't post on these topics much, but....

I will tell ya this. That edge ain't just here. It's everywhere I go, on everyone's mind I talk to. No matter which camp you are in.....and this seems to me to get more and more chilling each and every election. Maybe we are on the crux of something.
