Picks of Aux Back up lights

I bought a set of PIAA 510 for the purpose of mounting on the back of my truck to assist with lighting while plowing. But I briefly looked under the bumper yesterday and noticed that their is no bottom to the bumper. So can anyone post some pics of where they mounted their lights? or any ideas. Thx

for the past year, i thought my white knights were the best thing going, until they quit working last week when i needed them. took them apart, the relay is the cheapest piece of made overseas junk i have seen yet. completely rusted, arced through. i fixed it by installing a new sealed unit. the old one was full of water.

on my '05, the bumper doesn't have a bottom per say, but there is a small lip on the bottom side that was wide enough to accept the mounting screws on my lights.

I used my outer bumper brackets. They are brackets on the outsides of the bumper. I removed the brackets replaced with bolts and washers and mounted my lights to the bottom whole with a bolt and washer.

I looked at the white nights. I was a bit weary of a plastic piece of junk with cheap lights.

They look cool, but as far as reverse light output, they ain't squat. LED's (as we know them now) just can't match a halogen bulb as far as light output (this will change in the somewhat near future).

I think Hobkey is right. They are a show piece only. With the factory 15% tint and the wet cold weather it is tough to see. I am fine with day to day driving and backing up at night. But tonight I got in my truck and it was rainy and cold. My windows were fogged. The mirrors were also fogged. i could see nothing out the back window. I clicked on the heated mirrors and they cleared up quickly. But it was still a chore. So I am planning ahead for this winters plowing season.

I haven't had a chance to get these as of yet, but AutoBarn.com sells 50 watt halogen 3156 back up bulbs, part# DES20108VA. From what I can tell they are 23watts brighter than our 3057 backups. These would be a direct replacement without having to mount anything to the truck.

they look real nice, that's all. Not very functional, i got them thinkin they were the ticket for seeing behind NOT.
Cabela's sells a real nice kit for less than forty bucks, comes with everything, relay and all. Mounted mine to the bottom of my hitch.

My dad took two pieces of aluminum and mounted them to the vertical face of the hitch on each side of the actual receiver and then mounted my lights to that.
