Actually a new - leftover 2005.

Yamaha FZ1. Supposed to be a comfortable super fast sport bike.

Any FZ1 owners here?

Here it is, same color too:

I have a Dyna Glide that I'll be keeping. The FZ1 will be my commuter bike.

145HP with ~125 of that at the rear wheel. This thing books!

Very comfortable too. Not the forward leaning wrist numbing Ninja style.

I'm pretty psyched. New bike on the way for the summer. Life is good.

Congrats on the newer ride.

Still toyin with the idea of tradin' the G-G in on a newer G-G.

Actually entertaining the idea of selling Old Blue.

Thanks guys.

Picking it up Friday morning and taking the day off to put some miles on it. Supposed to be a nice day.

I'll report back on how it rides. From what the guys I work with say I expect to have a lot of fun on it.

Last rice burner I had was a Honda V65 Magna and that thing was super fast. This bike is alot lighter and has much more HP. It would blow off the V65.

I gotta pick up a new helmet too.

I plan on getting a bike myself this summer. A Suzuki DR650SE (its a dual sport). If I ever get a sport bike it will be a Honda RC51, fast and has an awesome sound to it.

Yeah I looked at that bike. I like the idea of a super high-performance V-twin, but calling that bike uncomfortable is a major understatement.

I wanted to get something I can stay on all day and still have a good time.

Too bad they don't put that RC51 engine into a more practical frame. I'd have bought that bike in a heartbeat. It does sound awesome.

Hey man, congratulations on the new bike. Maybe now you won't need to bomb the truck cuz the bike will be the fast one. J/k, ride safe dude.

I had one for a couple years, they are awesome bikes. If you really want to wake the thing up remember the names Ivan and Muzzy. Wait a couple months if you can and it will be like buying a new bike all over again and even better.

FZ1 Owners Association is a great resource and a great group of people. Kind of like here.

Good luck and be careful.

Must be something in the water. Been looking at the new G-G's as well. My honey even said that after things calm down around here, it might be something we'll seriously look at.
