Junior is going to get a job, it's just that we live so far out in the stix that there was no way for him to get to and from any kind of "decent pay" kid work. He is going to subsidize old Dad in both the insurance and truck payment division. I am 100% with the statement that it builds pride and character to work for your goodies. I also told him that I will continue to give him $20 a week to keep his room clean and the yard cut. He can decide to spend it at school for lunch or for gas (he can pack a lunch to school).
I guess I am gonna miss taking him to school every morning, since we have done that for the last 11 years, (AM bonding time is what we call it).

Good Job!
I am never going to buy another vehicle that takes me more than two years to pay off. I really like this truck but the amount of money spent on interest is a total waste. Our goal is to get it paid off by September and start putting the payment money away towards the future. Hopefully I can save enough to pay cash for the next one. I bought it to last me 10 years and with only 48K miles and 3 years of no troubles I think I should be able to do it.
