I would be mad as all get out if that where me. I absolutly cant stand people lieing to me. I would be rasing a fuss even if the truck ran and drove perfect. I have zero tolerance for being lied to. I have had a few problems with my new truck and been back in many times trying to get it solved with no luck. It wasent till a freind I went to school with that works there let it slip that they dont have any cummins trained/certified mechanics there and they where just shooting in the dark trying to fix it. I havent been back to that dealership sence. I hope someday I run into the owner at church and he asks how everything is going. I will be sure to let him know .
Nice, I would think it should have been titled a "theft Rocovery" or some knid of Re-constructed title. How stupid is the general public & the Media to believe that "tractor fuel" hurt the engine? More like kids running the dog crap out it?? I would think $5,000 dollar fine and 5 years would be justice for being beat on a 40K dollar purchase, That or D.C should look at a Buy Back just to save the dealership. There was a guy in lower Delawarre (years ago) that felt he had been sold a "lemon" Mercades>sp?, he rented the lot across the street from the dealership, put the car on a trailer, stacked a Yugo on top of it with a sign that read "better than Benz". Sounds dumb, but I bet it cost them a few sales over the years. (yes, years, this guy was there for A WHILE).
