How the heck to fix my glasses.......

So, the little screw that holds the arm on my eye glasses fell out.

I'll be darned if I can get that thing back in there.

Anybody have any tips?

The hole that the screw goes through on the arm is spring loaded and I can't get it to lign up.

I'm sure somebody else must have been there before?

I'm sure if I just took them to town I could get them fixed but being harvest time here I am never anywhere near a place to do so during business hours.

Take them to any optical shop, and they will fix them....I use Sams.

Consider Lasik, both my wife and father in law had it, 100% satisfaction with the results.

Price is coming down too as technology advances.

Try lining it all up with a strait pin from the opposite way the screw goes in, then push the pin out with the screw as you thread it in.

Thanks 1-2-3

I tried that but found I just bent the pin, couldn't find a nail small enough.

My eyes are getting super tired and sore, Gotta do something I guess.

They may end up wired together until harvest is over.

I bet if I had a needle that trick would work.

The pins that come in a new shirt won't.

Maybe try a small paper clip.

Now that was funny. Hey. Who cares. As long as it worked.

Harbor freight also sells a mag. glass than snaps to a bream of a cap. Your hands are free to work and you can see what you are working on....about $4.00. Handy to have. Think I've been there?

Now that you've got the screw in position put a drop of superglue on it to hold it in place.
