why are Outback's drinking glasses so small?
5 of us went to Outback tonite, the waitress wore herself out trying to keep our soda's refilled, we had been working hard, and wanted a good meal and to relax, but she worried us to death, hovering us and constantly interrupting to refill our sodas.
she did a good job, but it was annoying. don't think i will go back.

Two more options .... switch to pitchers of margaritas or smuggle in your own 2-liter bottles of soda and drink straight from the jug !!!
Hey ... I know all about redneckin' it !!!

We had an Outback steakhouse here in town several years ago.
I went there I think once, maybe twice.
As I remember they were the type of place that nickel and dimed you to death. Didnt like that about it much especially since there is a Texas Roadhouse down the road and has PERFECT steaks and great prices.
IMO...

Let me get this straight, 5 guys sitting at a table, by themselves, complaining that a female waitress is paying too much attention to them, and filling their glasses too often.
Come on home Marine Mike, there ain't nothing worth fighting for anymore. We are doomed as a society.

nah, was me & wife, and 3 kids from church, we had been working for 4 hours,
getting ready for the bonfire:
https://www.dieseltruckresource.com/...light=blooming
we had been carrying wood, moving chairs swings tables, BBQ grills,
and these kids have alot of stuff that we needed to sit and talk about, between the price of the food, and her reaching over around and behind us, was annoying.
I asked for bigger glasses (i had 2 glasses of soda at a time) but she said they "only used the small ones"
even the kids were empty most of the night. we had a pile of empty glasses on both ends of the table.
and she had on "flavor" (movie: office space) which is about 100 metal pins about a 1 1/2 square, and she was COVERED from waist to shoulders.
she sounded like a junkyard when she moved.
and i reckon it took ~hour to get them on and off, so don't reckon it's been washed too often.
should have asked for a pitcher, but was trying to talk to kids & pay attention to them. that's why i was there - to talk to them, not to have the waitress jingle jangle all over us.
it just kinda rubbed me wrong, and dang, it was expensive. $95 for us 5.
all got outback special, except one, he got ribs.
i've been wrong about more important stuff, i guess...
