good times ...bad times

Well here I am, sitting and goofing off on the computer again, after taking a week long vacation to Arizona with my son his wife and the grandkids.
I had a foot surgery today (planned) looks like I will be on crutches for the next 6-8 weeks, so most likely I’ll be on the site more than normal.
The good part is my boss has told me to do what I can from home and not worry about my job. So I’m reviewing plans and working the phone.
I the bad part is I got home from the doctor about 1200 and now I’m so bored I can’t stand it.

Looks like its time to take an extended vacation.

I am glad you had a good vacation with your family.

You are lucky to have an understanding and accommodating boss.

Hope you heal well.

Maybe if you changed your moniker you wouldn't have needed the surgery! Gotta be good to be fixed, and have security and understanding in your position at work. Just have to learn to flow with the punches...and not get stressed over time off feeling non-productive.

It just blows to be incapacitated, but it does give me a partial understanding of what others are going though. I normally don’t spend much time behind a desk but looks like I will be doing just that for the next few weeks. The Doctor is saying that he wants no weight on my foot for at least 6 weeks and maybe 8. After that I will be in a walking boot for another 2-4 weeks.
This sure is going to screw up my deer season.

A few good sites out there worth checking out if ya like savin money, slickdeals.com is one, and the new bing search from ms, where ya get money back like rebates on purchases, they are doubling up rebates in about two weeks to 16% or so rumor has it.

Picture this ….. Work up new load sit down and prepare to fire new load. Place foot on shooting bench
(Doc said to keep it elevated) aim at target shoot self in foot because I could not see it in the scope.

When you start to enjoy daytime TV you know it's time to go back to work!

True that. There's only so many A Team episodes that one person can bear to see before you find yourself wanting a Mr. T haircut and 20 pounds of fake gold chains around your neck.

I don’t have to worry about the hair cut …not enough hair.
I guess I’ll just have to sit here and drink coffee and surf.
