Bad Bad Bad Shake
I dont know if I have the death wobble but I put a leveling kit on with new shocks and new stearing stabilizer? that was 1400 miles ago and all fine. Yesterday i was running about 65 or so on a back country road and hit a little bumb and my truck just started skakeing not much the wheel but it shook bad. Do I need a new track bar or pitman arm. All rims, shock towers, everything tight. Had truck aligned about a month ago and said all ball joints everthing were fine. If i do need new track bar ect where is best cheepest place to order one? Thanks

If you change the track bar I would go with the Thuren. A one piece bolt on rebuildable bar. Works very well.

As bad as it is in the video I thought it was the rear end bcause you could not feel much in the wheel. Ball joints, T/B, and alignment where all bad. Never got a chance to fix it.

I had the DW,changed track bar and was good for a while and then the DW.
It was my new track bar(the track bar on dodge up to 2003 was from a jeep and not strong enough for 3/4 or 1 ton trucks ) had play where it goes to the frame,so i made my oun track bar with heim joint ok now.
I just pit 38'' swampers on (had 36'') now after plowing i got a shake(feels like a small DW) so i am geting rid of the ( Y ) steering system and going with a old style and hyd assist.
hope this helps tom
