I hope it works, but all that comes to mind is 'Wile E. Coyote' from the roadrunner cartoon!

Hmmm..Neat concept...
Hope the Navy doesn't take an interest in them... They'll stipulate that "just" a tailhook be added for their version. Then during testing up in Pax River MD, it'll require adding 50-100lbs of depleted uranium balance weights to the tip of the tail assy to compensate for the tailhook. THen it'll require a more powerful turbine engine because turbulator strips will be needed for the wing's upper surface to keep the platform "honest" at low speeds. Then the wings will be enlarged to handle the extra fuel due to the now decreased range, then someone would want hard points on the now-enlarged wings... then someone wants it to have all-weather, look-down RADAR since it obviously has weapons hardpoints. Then the parachute will be removed due to reduced carrying capacity.......
Sound familiar?

That's the biggest horsefly I've ever seen! Give me six pack and a case of Hevi-Shot BBB's for my 10 gauge, I'll shoot down a whole army of those things.

Can you imagine the jolt you'd get when you drop out of a moving airplane with those? OUCH!

Can't be any worse than the old T-7's ..... Those would stretch you out like a rubber band when they deployed.

Actually Top and I have been able to do that for years. Without the added bat wings.
Due to our aerodynamic shape, we just decend on our backs. Plenty of lift is provided but there are still a few problems with directional control, yaw primarily. That could be solved with a set of modified flippers.

Shortround out

You forgot that the user will need to wear stilts to be able to stand with the resized wing. Oh yeah so the jump plane will need an enlarged door.
