I just read your other thread.
It might be time too pull the starter and see if you can get it to work off the engine.
It sounds like you have a wiring problem that is now aggravated by the starter dying.
Can you located a place to rebuilt that starter where you are at?
I would NOT trade it in as a core at the local NAPA.
Worse case buy a rebuilt one, pay the core charge and keep your original to re-build later.
