I THINK MY HEART HAS STOPPED...

5:58 I have been in a violent spin for a long time.
Feels like I have to pass out..

My heart is still stopped..

6:11 It's ok,
I think it is beating again.

See his heart rate drop to zero then up to 192 BPM at least 3 times.
I hope this was just a telemetry problem and not the violent spin.

This would be on my Bucket List.

Someday if they would give rides, I would jump tandem.

I just hope some day that I could make my GoPro Hero-3 this proud.

Jim

I watched the live feed as it happened. It was flat awesome.

As I remember they scratched several times trying to get it off the ground. It was a huge balloon, and conditions had to be near perfect for a period of time to get it inflated and launched.

It was great. What was really cool was that they used Joseph Kittinger for tech support and capsule communicator at their mission control.
I had met Kittinger as a kid and my Dad flew B-26's with his group.

I like to think that I could make that jump if given the chance and some black out welding goggles, perhaps some really good drugs,
maybe a diaper or two, something to keep me from screaming and somebody to pry my fingers off the capsule .

I watched that the other day, again now. Used to be government paid for stuff like that. It's sad that now Red Bull seems to be the only ones with the nuts to try something like this.

Our Goverment has lost its edge it's guts we have become a country welfare receiving overly lazy Nonachaivers. We are the country that won two world wars made cars afforadable delveloped the television set. And now we leave advancements like this to companies for stunts.
