If the insurance company totals it, it can be bought back for very little money, as they sell to companys that make a living buying and selling these vehicles. That being said, atleast check the price, maybee someone here (like myself ) would be interested in buying it at a marked-up price as-is. just my .002

I bought the truck back, sold it, at least got my money out of the deal.... i now have a 1997 2500 4x4 ext cab long bed, auto. I will try to post some pictures sometime soon..... hopefully i can avoid flying jettas in the future...

You had your truck totaled, bought back and resold, all before my truck is even back on the road! What insurance company do you have Mine should hopefully be done for good tomorrow. Of course, that's what I said last Tuesday...

Amazing how that works out sometimes.... Westfield Group took good care of the situation. Everything is settled and i got a new truck... Just not quite sure what the deal is with the trnasmission..... it doesnt seem to be shifting correctly.... Matt, happened to your transfer case?

that sucks.... You have been without that truck for a long time.... i wasnt happy about a 3 week wait, but you have been waiting even longer than that..... Good luck getting your transfer case fixed this week....
