Prayer please for our nephew, Benjamin. He is 6 weeks old and was in the hospital yesterday for RSV. I'm not certain what that is, but he is having problems breathing. The hospital let him go home and on the way home he stopped breathing (this was today). His mom had to give him CPR and rushed him back to the ER. Please pray for this little guy, his parents Ashley and Linuel and his 5 siblings. Thank you all in advance.

That would be scary. Praying for little Benjamin for guidance to the doctors and complete recovery.

Thanks all for the prayers. We got an update today that he has been off oxygen breathing on his own for the last 18 hours. They were going to let him go home, but decided to keep him for another night for observations.

The amazing thing in all this, when his mom was trying to help him breathe, that worked initially, but he stopped responding. She said God reminded her that she had her breast pump in the car and to take it apart and insert the tubes into his nose. She said he responded immediately to it while they were on the way to the hospital.

Thanks again for the prayers. I'll update again when we know more.

For some reason I received your initial post about Benjamin on my phone and did pray and send a reply immediately, but see that my reply was not posted. Do not receive any notification about anything else from DTR on my phone, so why just the prayer request? Anyway, he has been in my prayers. Thanks for the positive updates. May God sees to it that his recovery is total and fast.

 

No worries brother! My phone has done that before as well. I (the family) appreciates all the prayers.

It's really cool to see how God works. Benjamin smiled (at the doc) for the first time when the doc was suctioning the fluid out of his lungs. Saw a picture of him today and he just had the biggest smile on his face.

Hi Guys, My friend Dave had emergency surgery for a rupturing aorta last night. He came through but needs prayer for him and his family.

They just got through hell and back going thru their 13 year old daughters immune deficiency disease and were getting back on their feet financially. This is a huge blow for them.

Please remember him at prayer time.

We are needing more prayer for our little gal out in Washington. We have had a setback just as things were settling out. She has been on "maintenance" chemo and doing well. Suddenly her white blood count has gone way down. They are suspecting liver fatigue. They cannot continue chemo until it comes back up. Would appreciate your prayers for her. Name is Ianna - - she is recovering from leukemia perchance you have not been following the saga.
