Amen to that. First is faith to KNOW that God can do anything. Then, follow His word which teaches us this practise. Seen it work too many times to ever have any doubt God heals. I am living proof of it.

Got a call tonight, my back to back lost his Grandfather. He has a long drive home back to Louisiana, and still has to tell his daughter about their loss. Prayers for a veteran in need would be greatly appreciated.

God bless you and your family Sargent Haddox, Rest in peace Paw Paw.

Evening all, rough day today...

A young man was a victim of very tragic circumstance today. A derrick man, Husband and father of two kids died on duty. He was pulled out of the derrick and fell 90' to his death. These boys face danger daily, and continue through to provide for their families and loved ones. This one has left us far to early. I do not know him, but a brother in need... Prayers for his family and 6 and 10 year old children. He surely is in Gods arms and sobbing, as I suppose he may not understand, and I am certain the question will haunt his family for years to come. Gods loving hand will hold them, I just ask you pray that they continue to accept it.

My mother in law is also in mid stages of liver failure. My wife is doing well, and acting in her mother's best interest. She has medical authority and is doing her best to ensure her mother passes to gods hands with as much dignity as possible. Her husband is quite old as well and we are doing everything we can to respect their privacy and wishes in their last days here. I am in no position to advise my wife on her actions, only encourage and love her. Gods hands are on us all, but knowing you are out there holding vigil gives us the strength we will need as things grow more and more difficult. Prayers for my wife and her mother are truly appreciated.

God Bless.

We've got a good friend who's out and deployed. Annette and her crew and their families are facing an uphill challenge. They aren't new to this by any stretch of the means. But they're in the point of the deployment where the stresses and the problems are magnifying, soon to hit a breaking point.

Would yall please put their crew and families on your prayer please? Thanks friends.

Prayers sent Shorts.

Update on my MIL. She is going down hill. Can no longer take care of herself, so my wife went to NC to help her out. Not to boast too much but my MIL has a great daughter. Not many can look their mother straight in the eye, hold her hand and ask for direction regarding the way in which they would like to pass. Not sure I could do that, I guess some day I will find out. All I have to do is tend the ranch on my days off. Our dog Jackson is in NC too. Cathy always liked him and we figured it would be good for him and for my MIL. If you guys could see to saying a prayer towards my beautiful bride and her lovely mother for a dignified and painless passing, I would greatly appreciate it. These next few months are gonna be tough for both of them...

God Bless.

Prayers for them AND you Jeff. It ain't easy on you either I wouldn't imagine.

Kinda strange, but I had less of a hard time watching my father die than I did my last dog. That sounds rather harsh or uncaring I know, but I think I realized it was dad's time. He'd lived a good life and was sick. The dog, 'Ranger'...

Jeff, got your request covered from here. Your wife must be a heck of a gal to handle this the way she is.

Shorts, you're covered as well. I never faced deployment but had to be away from home for some time, it's tough.

I think the difference is you can talk with people. There is a level of confusion, fear, love and compassion that can not be communicated with animals, and really not understanding what the animal is thinking or would like you to do. I actually told my grandfather to let go, and go be with grandma. My aunt flipped out, but in a muffled tone he said 'ok' and passed through that night. He hadn't spoken in a week. You can hold and pet a dog, but the confusion of non verbal communication makes us feel inept. However, one thing I know without any doubt... ALL DOGS GO TO HEAVEN!!!

As far as me, it's hard to be alone, and I most likely will be for the next six months, but having my wife lay her mother to rest in dignity and respect is a price not many are able to pay. I just thank god that I have a few resources available to have the option. Many don't.

Short's, Thank You. With only one hand you have the loving grasp of thousands.

Well sir, not to boast, and I suppose most will disagree, but without any doubt, with no question or hesitation, she is, in fact,

THE best.

The worst part is, right now with the entire freaking world on her shoulders, she is worried about ME.

And that's why she's who she is. Stay on top of your game, complain about nothing and be available for her whenever she needs you while she's gone. As you know, harder times are ahead.
