A couple weeks have now passed since I posted a prayer request for my wonderful Aunt Jean, now 87, who was about to lose a leg to vascular degeneration. Many responded and I am happy to report that although she is still in serious condition, her leg is responding well to treatment and because of a few other complications she was deemed not strong enough for surgery for the other issues. She is in excellent care and being well looked after. I know this is not coincidence.

Thank you all for keeping her in mind and continuing to pray for a great lady. She is one of the Greatest Generation and never complains.

Thanks again, Kurt

Guys and gals, I appreciate all your efforts in prayer over the past few weeks regarding my dear Aunt.

Sadly, she passed away today at 2:00pm EST. She was comfortable and surrounded by her two sons and my mom.

She had a birthday Wednesday and joked to my mom she made it to 87, which was her plan all along.

A truly Great woman from the Greatest Generation!

Your help and prayers made a huge difference and assured my Mom got to see her in time.

Thank you!

Kurt, condolences to you and the family. I'm sure Aunt Jean is smiling down. Take comfort.

Well, had to cut the vacation short. Got home in time to take the wife to the ER. This is the same thing she had last April only worse. They had to admit her. They are running tests trying to find out what is wrong, but so far nothing is showing up. She started having abdominal pains to the point she was doubled over, vomiting, and passing out. Me and the cat miss her.

The hospital had another Doctor come in, a pelvic specialist. He says she has an infected uterus and may need a hysterectomy. In the mean time I managed to make my own breakfast without setting the kitchen on fire and I'm attempting a load of laundry. We'll see what color my underwear end up this time.

Update, The hospital released my wife last night, she is still under medical care just at home. Right now, she and the cat are having a sleeping contest. I gotta wake up every few hours to give her her meds.

Hi, doing a quick pass thru. My wife's father was admitted to hospital last night with high fever and loss of balance. He has been struggling and fighting an infection compounded by his Diabetes.

The last time we talked one on one he told me he feels like he is losing ground.

I will be home tonight. Then gone again for a few days if I know things are manageable.

Scotty
