Chris, when they do that gate remodel, drop MY name... I'll build a set of gates that'll stop a semi. Or flip it. Or BOTH!

Gettin' a little impatient waitin' for the site to post your reply this mornin' Hat?

Janitor busy with important people; watch for 'Hillary' buttons next
NO! I will NOT be supportin' Hillary. I dunno where that came from, but it is totally inaccurate! Sheesh, what'd I say???

Coffee's good this AM, get it while it lasts!

Mornin, Scott. Maybe I need to take a trip up to K'zoo and get a bumper built... I'm plannin to be around "By God" West Virginia after Christmas...
Sorry for the double post. I did not think that the site would let me do that? Well, for my transgressions, I have made another 2 fresh (so to speak) pots of coffee, fat gernades (pink sprinkles for Top) and some of the blueberry muffins that my wife made last night.
Did I mention that my platoon is all on bed rest for the next 2 days? Anyhow, I was babysitting them this morning while the rest of the company (other 5 platoons) were going on a 5 mile hike. About 10 minutes before they were suposed to step off, I got the call... we need you out here. I was still in PT (exercise) gear. Cammies, pack, ran down the ladderwell (stairs) and hit the post button on the last post (2x, I guess). Hike's over, it was a good one. Beautiful sunrise.
Janitor, I got an e-mail to send you, It's a picture of a KFC sign talking about hilliary... Can't post it here, got slapped by an admin last time I did...

Later...

You must not have focussed enuff yet to see the half dozen or so repeat posts Hat made.

Hat, he helped me get started on something similar to this bumper for my blazer. http://www.4wd.com/productdetails.as...0&partID=13720
I added pipes to each side from the top of the hoop to the outboard edges, pre-runner style. Working on a back bumper with air right now. Unfortunately the camera is inop and has been on the bottom of the list right now. I still get "dangs" when people see the back bumper and reciver he built on the dodge.
Just be careful or you'll be going home and buying welders and junk....

Wow, I'm impressed - - so many people up and at the peuter so early on a Sat morn - - that is amazing. Thanks Madhat - - nice fresh pot of my coffee - - good. At least I can eat this morning - - I was sure hungry after getting out of the "search and rescue" session yesterday with the doc. All OK, but he was sooo funny. Comes in while I am still trying to figure out where I am and says "young man, do you know you have the longest colon I have ever seen?" DUH WHAT? Thought he was mad at me. Says I have over 8' - - guess normal is 5'. They had to move the gurney to go all the way. So, when they say I am full of it, guess they are right. Don't tell the Mrs - - she will never let me live it down.

Another gorgeous day - - just need to keep that stupid hurricane going west, young man. Maybe Texas could use some more rain.

OK, I have my coffee - - heading for the kitchen for breaky - - hmmmm, what neat for today? Just make sure there is lots of it. and more

Bob

Wink Coffee smells good, must be a trap....

CIN, sorry to hear of the little one; holding and tenderness is best medicine while the chemical stuff kicks in, thoughts to ya, gal! no aerial deliveries needed for now up here.

MAD, yeah- nice to hear competition is tough, makes you in the elite.
sorry that the flu competition has begun- how the heck do marines catch a cold in triple digit heat? Northern NY was 45 degrees this AM....feel better?

REDLEG- man that's a bit long for dispatching....don't know how you do it. retirement career being a disc jockey next?

CHAIKWA! had to see you snuck in whilst i was composing....just your comment about all the bigwigs at your compound, made sense that the political bigwigs would not want to be left out... you and I are about as political as a tree. get off the 'puter and go weld! want pics too!
sniff sniff, you didn't even put my name in the quote......

Salute! TOP, hope all is proceeding well with the next level, hug da kids!
Could we combine MADHAT's munition round with the rail to help Hillary into Mexico? my proposal for fair trade agreement 11 million illegals for her...

HEY GEICO!!! good to see your two finger typing here! hope you always have brand new fuel filters per flight! take care, cantankerous cutie!

My goal for the next few days is to clean the house and sort paperwork so I can sit on the porch and do nothing......04CTD already gets to sit on his bike for half a day cause Navy dudes are always squared away I guess....sheesh! life ain't fair, grumble grumble. tell SUSAN hello for me!

okay, off to be a house keeper....

What a lot of catching up to do on the reading. Everyones fingers must be worn down to the nubs from all the typing. Good to see it.

Hat glad your grampa is doing well. Whole platoon sick, sounds like you gave it to them this time, since your all ready over it.

Have a family reunion to go to today. Not to far away, hour or so. Wifes side so don't know a lot of them well but should be a nice get together.

Sis is up from Washington, or as NWDave says the left coast. Haven't seen her for a year of so should be a good visit.

Heidi hows the retirement of the other half doing. Sounds like your staying busy enough for the both of you.

Cin hope the pup is getting better.

Well have to go get cleaned up for the reunion. This will be my mantra for the next little while. Mind your p's and q's and don't embarrass your loved one.
If you don't, it's going to hurt and be very cold at night.

Have fun and drive safe.

Nice Avatar now. Neighbor said he had a bear at his bird feeders at about 4:30am the other day. I told him that was because he knew me and Kaley would be out for a stretch at about 5:30 so he had to hurry. He didn't leave the feeders up when he left to go back downstate this time.

i need a new rear bumper if anyone knows of one local & cheap.

it's called a BUMPER for a reason.

but, unfortunately, it only takes one good BUMPING for it to look like tin foil.

car trailer came off hitch (old, rusty, did not seat fully) and went under the bumper.

Thanks to you guys and gals! I really need this, fingers are crossed for Monday when blood gets drawn to see how he's doing. They put him on Prednisone(a steriod) to help him build his red blood cells up.Hopefully it works. But he can't be on it forever because it can cause his kidney's to shut down. She even said there is a big chance of him developing cancer down the road.My worst fear.

Here is a late night snack for yall. Strawberry shortcake w/whip cream.Heads up!

I want to thank all of you for being there for us!!!You all are truly one of a kind type of people that care .Again Thank You!Cin

Gotta go now to take care of my other pride and joy.Goodnight

I was going to give you a hard time about this but I'll just sit here and snicker quietly to myself. Have a good nap, avoid the long one. should be hot in the am.
