Mornin' all, the wee hours.
Raining hard again.
Been a long day. Up early yesterday, the bbq, to bad it rained on Saturday. We still had fun, ate waaaayyyy to much, thought I was going to blow up. Saw some bbq pits the size of a small locomotive. Wife had camera with her so no pix of that one. Here are a few pix.
Wife is up doing school work, and I help her on some of it. Mostly brainstorm. Then I have more important things to do, like make popcorn for her to munch on.
Lets see who can come up with the best April fools gag. It was FunnyHat's idea to include Aprilfools in this thread.

Morning! Marcus, a friend of mine had a hovercraft in Biloxi, Miss. I never got a chance to play with it, but it sure looked like fun.
Not much on the schedule this morning after work. A little bit of drywall sanding getting ready to paint. Decided to replace a mirror that looked a little plain. That led to paint, new fixtures, pulling up carpet, putting down tile, .....Should have just left well enough alone. At least the jacuzzi got left out. (this time).
Good thing I get contractor discounts.

Morning, morning. Good coffee, good donuts. Happy april fools, everyone! 04CTD already did his april fools on me last night. He came over promising me that he would put the little lamp thing that he invented on my wife's truck, but, all he really wanted to do was make me strip a bunch of wires and get eaten up by sandfleas. No light kit. Ha ha, happy april fools.

hehehe actually, the LAB REPORT is updated to:
can bark to go outside and do his 'duty'
learned how to play with the Siberian
learned NOT to play with cat, just sniff noses
learned that human in office means a nice nap underfoot
learned that human in family room means soft cushion nap
learned that human at table eating, mean I get to eat dogfood!!!
learned that human in living room with talking box means I get a good body rub and head scratch
learned that when all is dark and quiet, I remember to wake them up at 4am
I still cannot grasp the concept of eating the shoelaces and peeing in a logging boot....
attack of the wrong parts again with the mercedes, no front end work this weekend. dog food deliveries set for next week (six more pallets to get rid of- YAY!) college boy fessed up to not attending classes this past week (ugh)
and split some wood, we watched movies ( I sublimely picked out THE PURSUIT OF HAPPYNESS) and we will talk again today before he leaves to go back. where is this in the manual?
ok, time for a hot beverage and figure out what project is a priority...

Morning, about to go work a roping. (How do I wind up working calf ropings?) And because it's April Fools day, I don't believe anything ya'll say. BTW I dynoed my truck last night, 553hp and 1500 ft. lbs. (sorry, was the best fool I could come up with, could have done it on the Bryan/College Station section and give BigBlue a hard time though

Good Sunday Morning Folks!
Gonna go look at a new truck today, and yes it's a CTD
2007 3500 DRW, 5.9 reg cab, 4x4, silver,with a 6 speed manual trans.
I think I can grab it for around 32k, we'll see.
If I buy it, the 97 will be for sale, already have too many trucks and not enough people to drive them.
Now I need to go take some advil so I can get rid of the headache that I will have when I sign my name for the new truck.
I'll let y'all know what happens.

Whoever made up that "Yes I have a truck, and no I won't help you move" bumpersticker was NOT married to a Hispanic wife. 
Last night, got the privilage to once again move the wife's nephew's stuff out of our basement (3rd time in & out) as he and his new wife have found an apt in Manassas.
Just got back from Shoney's and a pig-out at the Breakfast Buffet.
Nuttin' like chicked nuggets drowned in sausage gravy, washed down with a pot of coffee to make ya swell up like a dog tick.
Cool here today, and cloudy...good day for a loooooong nap.

Houston 69*F with heavey showers, and possible loud clouds and light show later today. AKPaul going to have a heat wave today, 39*F in the forcast.
Wannabe, thanks for the patch. Good lab report. Now just get the correct parts and you can have fun with the mercedes.
Alpine, cool hovercraft. Do you get to play around with them?
If there was a restriction on cloths in the breakroom, what would a lizard do?
BTW that notice has been in the last few breakrooms.
Geico, if it is too windy to fly it is always a good day to work on the bird. Can always use another coat of wax.
Shovelhead, maybe it will be the last move. Don't clean out the basment, that way won't have room for other peoples stuff.
