Looks like Dodge's idea of a Pontiac Solstice/Saturn Sky with a 4 banger with the looks of a viper + 350Z. i like it though, put in the blown SRT-6 mill and we are off to the races!

GENEVA — Bound for Geneva is the Dodge Demon roadster concept, outfitted with the same 2.4-liter World Engine found in the 2007 Dodge Caliber. Should the Demon make it to production, it's likely to carry a more reasonable price tag than the $84,000 Dodge Viper.
Dodge describes the Demon as "an attainable dream car." It is not giving away any plans for production, but such a vehicle would slot nicely into the Dodge lineup, especially next to its V10 big brother, the Viper. And it wouldn't be saddled with the $3,000 gas-guzzler tax that bedevils the brand's flagship roadster. The Demon's four-cylinder engine produces 172 horsepower at 6,000 rpm and 165 pound-feet of torque at 4,400 rpm. It is linked to a six-speed manual transmission.
The car is decked out in Bright Amber Pearl paint, with a Carbon Black cabin. Dodge says it rides on a 95.6-inch wheelbase with a 51.8-inch overall height and a 156.5-inch overall length. Estimated curb weight is 2,600 pounds.
Exterior styling cues include the signature Dodge crosshair grille, projector headlamps, a hood that is hinged at the front and 19-inch brushed aluminum wheels. Dodge designers say they were inspired by "timeless British sports cars" when it came to creating the fairly simple cabin with its three-spoke steering wheel and four-gauge cluster. The floor console is not attached to the instrument panel and is dominated by a silver-and-black manual shift ****. The black seats are topstitched with silver thread.
The Demon makes its formal debut on March 6.
What this means to you: The Demon concept will undoubtedly be one of the showstoppers at Geneva as Dodge searches for ways to round out its product portfolio.

The earlier ones with the 340s were pretty hot. Not sure what all engine combo they had. Cool lookin cars. Always liked the little demon guy on the back.

You had to watch the old Demons, there were some sleepers in there for sure. 340 six pack was nothing to challenge without something serious under the hood. I agree, I don't feel it, yet. I love the thought of resurrecting the old car names as long as they resemble the old cars, like the Challenger.
dang guys, you sure know your mopar.....
when i first saw it i though "Demon" was a stretch for a name and had no idea there was any history behind it...
starting to agree with Shovelhead, my Dad bought a GTX 440 when he first came to the states and i hope to buy one eventually too.

I had a '72 Demon with a 318 that was my winter beater for a couple of years. Some fool had changed the front seat before I bought it. The first time I floored it I almost ended up in the back seat! The front bolts on the seat were missing.
The pre-'72 340 cars with a 3:91 rear end were quick.

A 3:91 is allot of gear, my Dart 340 Sport only had a 3:23 and it was fairly quick but way better on the top end. Gotta give something to get something.
