mornin' fellas - Day #12. no relief in sight.
Rained like mad here last night. the young one wouldn't go to bed (lightning/thunder)...glad Momma handled it.

Mornin' all.
Almost became a hood ornament for a flat-bed wrecker this morning. Light changed and I rolled about 2 feet and then caught him out of the corner of my eye and stopped. Usually I look both ways before pulling out after the light turns green. Had I not stopped I would have been t-boned by him at about 40-45 mph. What a mess that would have been.

Rained a few times last night. I really hate when that happens because it gets humid and the stupid crabgrass grows. The drainage system here doesn't work too good due to the elevation / sea level.
Hehehe "sank two Bismarks" that's good, I gotta remember that one.

Sure glad you guys kept the water cooler warmed up - - been too busy to drop by.
PW - - moving to Germany? Wow, poor baby. You will miss sundown in Mallory - - you know you will.
Hot and very humid today - - a little drizzle a couple times, the rest bright sun and hot. Sure makes the flowers grow, though. Wow, the yard is all kinds of colors. Had to trim and mulch today - - getting ready for "winter" - - yep, it might not get much above 65 some one of these days.

Can't believe no one has been around the cooler today - - and it is the end of the day. Wow. I know - - the weather is lousy up north. Sorry about that. Well, if it makes you feel any better, we are getting our first cold spell right now - - blowing hard, and getting cold. It is down in the high 50's and the sun just set. Now, that is cold for here. Back up to 70 tomorrow, but a high in the low 60's on Monday. Wow, I might have to dig out a coat - - Hmmmmm, where did I put it?

Went to work at 0800 Saturday for "a couple of hours".
Still here.......looks like I might get home sometime tomorrow afternoon..
