Wow, I get to be the first, one perk from working the graveyard I guess.

Get to go home in just over an hour, catch some quick zzzz's, then come back in 8 hours for another 10 hour shift.
OT in time for Christmas I guess.

Hello from the Right Coast.
Stuff falling from the sky turned into rain last night as temps climbed into the upper 30s.
Doesn't break my heart.
I don't have to shovel rain.

Min-Pin alarm went off at 0530....was ignored until 0630..I GOTTA fix that "snooze" button.

Heading out for breakfast in a bit then grocery shopping, ear lowering, and maybe later, a movie wit' the Wifey.

Y'all B safe

Got a little snow here, not much but enough that I probably won't be installing those cab clearance lights I ordered up!

No worries either way. Sunday morning, big cup of black coffee, and all is nice and quiet.

Aloha y'all
Eyelids failed open @ 0300. Skin is a little "prickley". Wonder if the sun might have anything to do with it
Took Mike over to the Chiefs Club yesterday for a bite to eat and a cold one. Blasted place did'nt even open till 1530. Guess the Navy's going to H in a hand basket. I think 90% of the chiefs are less than 30 yr old. Most don't even look like they are out of high school. Subase and Ford Island has really changed. I was able to find to old Fire Control shop. Same place it was 30 years ago. Lots of memories.
Cold front coming in. Temps down to the upper 70's.
Got some beautiful pics. Love the new camera. Need to get a power supply and rechargable batteries tho, the sucker eats AA's. Will send some thru Ed or Top (for censoring).
Flash, got the PM. Will hollar at him today.

shortround, the NiMH AA's these days are amazing! Check out the Energizer's. I have the 2200 mAh but now they even make 2500 mAh.

http://www.energizer.com/products/re...les/sizes.aspx

They actually last much longer than regular Alkaline's!

Second that, I've had really good luck with the Energizer rechargeables in my digital cameras.

No snow here today, but it's dang cold. All inside work today, staining the trim in the dining room. Messy, but not as hard work as the sanding we did yesterday. Feels like my arm's about to fall off.

Good evening again,

Almost got up to 50* today. I was walking around in a t-shirt and getting the strangest looks from the Germans .

Ed ... where do you come up with these great pictures ?? The "little" snowball had me ROTFLMAO.

SR, the reason the CPO club didn't open on time is because they are all run by MWR (More Work Required) instead of by the Chiefs. Worst thing to happen ... used to get a lot of things figger'd out in there.

Got an early reveille in the morning ... better hit the rack.

-24C here for the high today.
-28C for tomorrow morning.

By Friday it will be plus 5C or 44F...nice and messy after all the snow we got.

Truck is starting real nice with the block heater and the pan heater.
Put the solid winter grill inserts on yesterday.

Bob, I planted myself inside that snowball...get ready for a BIG surprise.

Time to move to Mexico
