Auto insurance

Just wanted to see who pays what and where. The cost here is nuts, 14+ years driving and not one claim (driving for 40 years) 20 of them driving truck. I have a 2001 dodge and my rate is 1400.00 a year 100 deductible on collision and even going through private on the collision which saved me 100 a year. So let us know what the rates are across the country and boarder, to see who gets the biggest SHAFT????????????

Mine is right around $1100 a year and I have 44 years of safe driving, so you are pretty close, that`s what you pay with government insurance, no fault, we pay for the loser`s also. It sucks but we got nothing else. In the States at least they have a choice, we don`t.

We have no-fault here in Michigan too.

Full coverage, (fire, theft & collision), for my 2001 International semi is $1200 a year.

$600 a year with no collision....Buy and insure more vehicles......It sound stupid but it was cheaper for me to insure all 5 vehicles than just one...Multi-vehicle insurance is what I have..But I have collectors insurance on 4 of them..and my dodge is insured as a vehicle not driven to work.

$580 a year, comprehensive, no windshield and $500 deductible. $500 deductible and no windshield really lowers the rates. In one year you save enough to pay for a new windshield if needed. Low deductibles are a money maker for the insurance companies.

I was paying $1650 a year for full coverage on my three trucks and my toyhauler, $500 deductable, first windshield free for all the trucks, etc., from Geico.

Now that I added my oldest to the policy, we're paying an additional $1200 - $1400 just to have him insured.
