From what I've been reading there are a few contributing factors.
High drive pressures.
Too much timing with adding a tuner...not a brand specific thing.
Etc Etc
Some of it is inherent design flaws from the factory...or limitations.

AllTurd phoogoo flavored with bacon puffs and ice cream is on.

yum yum hurl

Had yesterday off, so decided to flush the cooling in the 78 Magnum. While patting myself on the back thinking about taking it and the better half to a show, what do I see? Big puddle of oil. Yup, rear main let go. Ow well, it was a good plan.

Bring on the fresh pot....

Snow piles are down to 24" from 60". Got the coals going for bbq #2 this yr.
Worked like a dog in the yard tossing more heavy snow.
Feels good.
Bummer on the rear main. I feel your disappointment.

Oh man, I am one hurting unit. I spent all winter sitting on my posterior, yakking with all y'all on here. Spring is finally here so I sprung into action. The decks (3) have been sanded (by me), treated with Thompson's (by DW) and I spent a few hours shovelling dirt in the yard the is a result of our new septic line being installed last December. We were outside working at 8:30am and pulled the rip cord about 30 mins ago (5pm). There isnt a muscle or tendon in my body that doesnt ache. Tomorrow isn't going to be nice at all - muscles hurt worse the next day. There is still a lot of earth to be moved in the yard but my farmer friend called this afternoon - he is going to stop by tomorrow with his Bobcat to save me. Once that is done, he is going to spread 3 loads of manure on the garden. This is the guy that I give my hay to. I have always thought I had a good deal going as he helps me whenever I need it. Right now, I think I have a GREAT deal going.
Oh yeah, DW and I have red faces, first significant sun exposure of the year. All is good.

I hope everyone had a productive, fun and safe Saturday. Now it is time for a glass of wine.

Sorry about that, never a good find. 400 or 360? What ever you do, don't wash and wax it! Besides the tail lights falling out there's no telling what else might happen.

I thought you were suppose to be taking it easy, not stressing the repair job.

Gona smell like a Bengay factory around your place for awhile.

Evening, still raining on and off, now we have a tornado watch. Feels like I'm back in B'ham.

T-Rad, there have been worse smells around here, so I can deal with that. We have serious wind in southern Alberta right now (about 60mph). If it goes down to something reasonable, DW and I will take a dip in the hot-tub - that will help sore muscles. Unfortunately, the wind isn't likely to die down any time soon.

What a weird world, the highway heading out of Edmonton southbound (3hrs north of here) is closed because a semi blew over (that is not unheard of around here), we are under a total fire ban due to dry fields and heavy winds and poor Scotty in Saskatchewan and northern Alberta are having major floods. My kid sister and her family are in LAke Louise (in mountains 2 hrs west of here) and they have snow on the ground and rain.

Mother Nature is not dealing with menopause well....

On a completely different and unrelated topic, T-Rad would you please round up Shorts and JWBM and get them to come back and play with us.

It's a little more complicated than that. Once Virginia ceded, the western half of the state formed a new Virginia government, who put in motion the process of splitting West Virginia off of Virginia. Part of the process is approval of the state government, which is why they formed a new state government. Once they got federal approval, they formed the West Virginia government and dissolved the "new" Virginia government.

We try to take some time off. Really helps sometimes. Luckily we aren't dairy, beef are not nearly as labor-intense.

Thought I had seen some 31X10.50R15 tires in the pick-up garage at work. Got to looking and found some 265/75R15's, which are considered an equivalent. Started taking the stack down to get them out, and the stack started squealing and growling at me. Found a mother raccoon and 4 babies inside.
