Lopez is back to back with Los Padres National forest. There are tons of places to ride.

Cowhand: Never been to the desert, sounds fun but don't have dirt tires. All the riding I did in oregon was on the dunes. All I need is a reason to buy some probably wait till next year considering it was over 97 degrees all day in temecula today.

May 18-20 is a little soon for me as well.

Th OHV area is pretty easy to get into on short notice, except for maybe holiday weekends. August 17-20 on the beach will work for me. The wife has come around to camping in the sand since the water is so close.

I could be down for oceano dunes.. any tent camping allowed? I won't have my camper setup by then, and is there anywhere for a lonely jeep guy to go driving in the dirt? I like dirt too, I just drive a bigger vehicle, thats all

Here is a pic of our SoCalRattlin Rams pismo trip last year

We had a good time thrashing on the trucks and watching the newbies crossing at high tide.

We could run holocomb valley/big bear.. I would be down for that.. I'd just slap the toyota license plate on the jeep and drive it up there.
... Even if it is not legal...
