My truck is my only source of transportation, and in the very near future, will be relied upon to make a living. I'll be taking the plunge to self employment as an electrical contractor in the next few months. I'd like to install a #10 plate (yes, gauges too) real soon and also bump the timing to a conservative, but more advanced than stock, setting. However, I don't want any issues with my transmission. I'm not sure what exactly I need for tranny upgrades, but I'm sure conversations with the big four will help me out.

Has anybody had any experience with any pump or tranny shops in the southern california area?
