Yep, 'fraid I might get scalped!

I don't have to go out of town now, but one consession is having to keep the 3 1/2 YO grand daughter all aftyernoon and tonight. Every moment is a pleasure and she's a little sweetheat, but she wears me out.

Rob,
Glad you're going to make it.

Wayne,
Do you have ball games all weekend?

Alright now I feel like a total Was on the road, truck was clean, had a trailer in tow to pick stuff up on the way back, then I get the phone call... Mom was in a panic. Shes a workaholic and has been planning crap for this Relay for life stuff for the past few weeks (she raised over $5,000 for the event) and she has an issue with some of the electrical equipment to be used... (You have to know my mom she takes all this stuff personally when things dont work out and bout has a nervous breakdown because of it...) So I had to make a U-ey and drive back to help. By the time I got everything fixed it was 4pm, 4 hour drive would have put me there at 8 best case and I had to be back here at 2pm Saturday to make a grass delivery...

Basically my timeline just got too short I hate it too cause I was one that was for sure going to make it and I hate to bail on anybody

Sorry guys

Good two days at the Ardmore Track! Lots of passes and nothing serious broken.
After we lightened up Mike's Monster and put smaller tires on it, he manages to drop 4 seconds off his initial time and is an honest low 15 sec truck.... launching in 2WD!

I ran Friday night w/o traction Bars and Saturday with the bars on. LazarSmith Traction Bars are worth .2 sec in 60 ft and ET.... and about 1.5 mph more in speed!
But, I discovered I can't get under 13 sec with 35" tires...no matter what! Best was 13.09/103.28 mph.

Time to try the 265/70/17's again. ANY 3RD GENS IN THE AREA with 285's that are about to be replaced...let me know. Would consider factory 265/70/17's also. I'd like to buy a set of four with 'a bit' of tread still on them.

RJ

You could get under 13 with 35's. Just need more power.

4 secs? Wow. Yall musta dropped a ton of weight off of his truck.
