Actually, he said he clocked me at 115, but wrote the ticket for 100. Talked to local trooper who said at 45 over he would have to take me in. Probably did 100 because... either he believed me...or did not want the hassle/paperwork??
Either way...I am actually very lucky!
I have discovered the fine, in OK, for 30 over is $380.00.

Other than the fine, could be a major hassle (in court) for just a 15 sec WOT run; but "want to play...gots to pay".

Your lucky. Down here between 20-24mph over it's up to the officer to take you in and 25+ it's mandatory jail time.

It's not luck, it's being a distinguished gentleman and not having bass speakers blaring and rap music cranked up while slouchng down in the seat and trying to outrun a PS around The Loop.

I wish you'd transfer to McKinney PD - their finest gave me another ticket!
Too many lights, now parking too long while working, probably get the next one for too many gauges!
I mean - aren't there enough perps around town to keep them busy?

I'm guessing it has to relate to the size of outlet/piping etc...
Is your hot pipe bigger than Rowland's?
... that'd make for a lower psi

Get your Smarty working and let's head back to Ardmore? (while I still have my license).
I want a pic of that nitrous bottle running down the track(with your tailgate off).

RJ
Sounds good!
This weekend I'll try the new zip downloader on the Smarty and see if it likes my ECM.

Don't worry about all that legal mumbo-jumbo... you can always drive onto the GN and we'll cruise up there together (and probably the only way the '05 will get to be in front of your truck at Ardmore! )

... I'm just glad you don't have a camcorder - there's lots of guys salivating for the video of the crater forming when the '05 gets hit simultaneously with rail-draining aftermarket fueling, 70% water/meth, the BIG nitrous pill, and a healthy load of nitro!

Oh yeah - not to mention the Tornado (Dan finally convinced me to run one )

p.s. also, I'm installing dual CP3 fuel line magnets

Ain't that the truth! I have a feeling our "rainy" weather will come to an end VERY soon.

RJ...the rain you saw yesterday morn came here too (McKinney) but just enough to wet the driveway a little. Then it just went away and reformed east and south of DFW. I think Corsicana got the biggest part of it.

Anway...for now....I think Sedalia is dry enough now for me to get the travel trailer with no probs.

And dry enough for Tyler and Mike to bring their shovels and a load a dirt to fix their mess!

.......................................

Nope, McKinney PD is bored and looking for something to get into.

All the perps are in Dallas creating havoc for us to go clean up. Our call load is just unbelievable. In my division alone (1 of 6...and soon to be 7)....we were holding about 40 + calls when I went on duty this afternoon. 40 calls that somebody called us and needs us to come do something about somebody right then...and nobody to go. Unless your SHOT or CUT ....don't expect us to be there pronto in the summer months.

So, living in McKinney...where the cops are bored....CAN be a good thing!

RJ...when you get ready to do your EGT testing again.....Just drive down to Dallas first on a Friday night.....and let the "testing" begin!!

I think you are going to be fine RJ. It could have been worse, but since he lowered it down to 100....I think it will just involve a fine. Hopefully deferred adjudication too.

Anybody have any suggestions for a good used pressure box that will work on a 3rd gen? I'd like to have one to turn on while playing or dynoing...but turn off most of the time for daily driving. I'd like to break 500 at Alvarado.

Gotta stay ahead of Tyler, ya know!

To many lights? Sounds like something the ding bats with badges down here would pull. I swear cops take creative writing classes just so they can make up tickets. And parking to long? Who cares. I'd be fighting these that's for sure.

Robert, hopefully once I get this new injection pump on I'll be around 550. I'm told I should be up around there so we'll see. And your gonna need a tranny first.

Charlie, I've never tried to outrun a PS on the loop. I always succeed in out running them.

You better be at 550! Or im going to come up with some trumped up charge to haul you in on.....hmmm let's see.....1. not enough hp for a Cummins, 2. truck sitting jacked up to high, 3. Smokie stacks polluting the environment w/o making enough HP, ..................

No doubt I need a tranny. Someday someday. I think it can handle a dyno run though, with some added pressure.

I went today and retrieved the WW from Charlie's place. And just in the nick of time too!!! As soon as I got on 121 headed back toward 75....here it came. Huge drenching rain storm with some light hail. Cars were pulled over on the side of the road due to the heavy rainfall. I just pushed on and went home and cussed every time I heard a hail stone hit...but thankfully they were pretty small. No damage that I can tell.

Mike,,,,,enjoyed our late dinner at Steak Country! Good food....a definate do again. Good luck getting that job finished!
