But it's obviously just a money factory for the county... which kind of stinks!! Guess I should not be complaining!

Need to be a good boy and do any and all testing for Mach 6's in Texas for 90 days!!

Just got back to work....and it's raining HARD again!

RJ

Good deal Rowland!!! Glad it turned out to ONLY be a "money factory" instead of something really "serious" with LONG TERM consequences!!!!

I told you before.....Just drive down to Dallas, Texas on a Friday or Saturday night and play all you want. We are to busy cleaning up after the shootings and cuttings to mess with you while playing with your Golden Torque Monster!!

Yep!! We couldn't buy a drop of rain the last two years, but we are getting all that we missed right now...

Lake Lavon went from 17 ft down...to around 5ft high! I bet even poor old Cooper Lake has got to be full again by now!!!

Im not complaining at all. My yard is so green and lush....looks awesome. But I need to borrow a bush hog to mow it next time! Im not sure my little Troy bilt "pony" 17.5 hp will handle it anymore.

Sounds good Rowland! I should be able to come and bring our "home" away from home........Weekend Warrior. Water isn't a problem...I can bring 120 gallons if need be. But electric hookups would be nice to not have to run the Generator all the time.

Mike and Evan have the top pull down queen bunk. Besides my own front queen, I have two other beds available for whoever wants them (our more senior gents will get first preference over the young bucks) Air mattresses are also an option. It's gonna be hot im sure...so the A/C will be a nice luxury. What's for dinner????????? Charlie's Chili??

Has anybody seen or heard from Rob lately? I just noticed that Rob's chapter website appears to be down and Rob hasn't checked in on DTR in a couple of weeks or so and hasn't posted in a month. Anybody have any info?

Rob? Come back!!! I don't care about the website...but I do hope you will come back and be a part of things again.

We got 4" Rain in 2 hrs last night... but N. Texas looked like it got much worse??
More on it's way, too.

I expect a Redline CNX notice any time now. Either way...XLR8R & I won't be there!

Saw Rob's last thread in General Forum. Jack may have ticked him off a bit. Just guessing?

Robert, I'll take one of those bunks, please... or at least some floor space! (Assuming paved parking and no place to pitch my tent) Anyone ever been to the Diamond W Arena in Alvarado?

Note: See post #222 for some additions to the original Alvarado information.

I'll take a bunk if one is still available!! I have my little put put Honda that only puts out about 15amps (Runs anything you can plug into a household outlet)... Good for small stuff and makes no noise! under 50dB I believe.... I just bought a Bush Hog 15' batwing mower, I'll come swing by Robert!! She ought to be able to cut your lawn down!!

Rowland you are welcome to a bed. These are alot bigger than the little twin bunks in my small trailer. You may even be more comfortable on the floor with an air mattress though.....totally up to you.

Brian,......I am assuming Charlie would like a bed to rest his "young" bones in. If there is still one available, be my guest! We will fit everybody in, somehow.

I have a generator.....so that really isn't the issue. The main thing is having A/C on a mid-July night!! And that is going to require 30 amp service from a hook up or listening to the noisy, construction site style, gen all night. IF we need to run it, we can.

That arena has RV hookups available with power, so if you can get into one of those you shouldn't have to bother with the generator. Just not sure if you have a reserve/rent the space, or if they're included with the arena use.

Here's a link to the arena website: Diamond W Arena
