Finally .... Some Directions !!

Ok ... I give up. We'll just have to type out the directions ... not really all that hard to get to, I just wanted to put up a nice fancy map for ya to print out.

Mountain Grove is located on Hwy 60 about 70 miles east of Springfield.

There are 3 exits for Mtn. Grove but you will want to take the 2nd exit which is Hwy 95. You will know it's the right one if you see a McDonalds on one side and a Walmart on the other.

Head SOUTH on Hwy 95 through the town square (FOLLOW THE HWY SIGNS !!!). There will be several turns on this road until you get out of town ... hang in there.

Once you leave town, continue down south Hwy 95 approximately 6 miles to Farm Road 154 (this will be the first dirt road on the right ... 8/10 of a mile past AE). Look for the MODTR-30 sign !!!

Turn on this dirt road and go all the way to the end ... 1.1 miles.

*** Please take it slow after you cross the small creek bed as the drive way goes through my neighbors property and they have small kids and animals.

If you get lost ... call the house (417)948-0110 or cell (417) 773-0302 and I'll come get ya.

Google earth satellite imagery shows the first road on the right past AE as being county rd 95-164 instead of 154. Looks nice and private down there.

Refreshed the image and it finally lit up as road 154. I figured google was messing up again.

Nope, it's by the black and white cows just past the sycamore tree and before you get to old man winters place.

I never did like that ol' man Winters .... he used to kick my dog.

Well anyway .... yes, that is where we are and yes, it has been a good place to bury the bodies.

I hope everyone can make it ... still don't have a real accurate head count but that's ok ... I think we will have it covered.

Cheers,
PISTOL

Thumbs down backing out

I hate to do this, but it is now about certain that i wont make it at all. ....
we have purchased a horse trialer in Marlette Michigan( about an hour north of detroit I think? ) and I will be road tripping up there Friday to pick it up. 14 hours there per mapquest and 12 hours from there to Roberts..... dont think I woud get there untill late, and that is if I dont sleep....getting too old for 26 hours non-stop....
If something changes I will sure be there, but for right now, I gotta back out...
Sorry Rob, I was looking forward to this!
i may still try, but wouldnt plan on it.

At least you will have a hotel room you can bring with you for the next gtg. I have plenty of space out back to park a trailer and there is electric in the barn.

I am trying to talk the BOSS into picking the trailer up Friday night, and driving down Saturday morning real early, so we would get into Rob's around 2-4pm... but she aint going for it... She HATES travelling by car...
I figure if we leave Marlette about 0400, we'd get to Mt Grove around 15-1600.....I realy dont think I will sell her on teh idea tho..
