You just had to show that picture and make me want one didn't ya. Weatherman said 30% chance of rain Friday night. Saturday by noon it should be a really nice day. Pack is coming to the house and will follow me in. We should be there by 12:00 or a little before. Got 2 gallons of Red Diamond sweet tea and quite a few pounds of catfish even though it isn't fresh out of my pond. Guess I should have grabbed a couple bags of jalapeno hush puppies while I was in the store to go with the fish.

Last call for alco.... Oh wrong place, So what is the final tally on who all will be in attendance tomorrow. I'll be there with the Wife and both of my boys. I'll be packing venison jalapeno cheese summer sausage, townhouse crackers, catfish, sweet tea, and maybe even some hushpuppies. And I might even try to wash the organic fertilizer off the truck. IE: horse manure. Chris, I'm saving your stick of summer sausage at the house for the next gtg after this one.

YEEHAW !!! Gonna be a decent afternoon it appears. Sure is gorgeous this morning.

Darin .... I'm glad you are bringing the family. Can't wait to meet them.

Mike .... nice touch with the Big Mac comment . Don't bother scrubbing the manure off the truck ... I don't think I will have time to give B.E.R.T. a bath and don't want to be the only one with a nasty looking truck .

Chris .... have a safe trip. Offer still stands for the return trip.

Lot's to do ... gotta go.

You guys have plenty of fun.
I'm packing the GSA van up and will be heading out to Huntsville, AL (Redstone Arsenal) in the AM. Got a bunch of people to have a chat with and if everything works out, I might be able to walk in to the office and chunk all my keys on the big boss' desk. Get back in on the 4th and roll out again on the 6th headed south. Wonder if I can get frequent driver miles?
Got way too much going on and not enough bodies to get it all done.

Shortround out

My wifes best friend was killed today and their youngest daughter. Feel sorry for the husband and other 3 kids that are still alive. His wife and youngest daughter were hit head on by someone crossing the center line, everyone in both cars died.
As you can understand I'm takeing my wife and kids to Kansas to help with funeral preperations. Our kids and there kid were/are good friends also.

Sure didn't need any supper after all that food. Wish I could have brought fresh fish out of my pond instead of that store stuff. Got up early Sunday morning and took my oldest son over to a friend of mines farm and called him up a nice bird. Just a tick shy of 23 pounds had a 11 inch beard and 1 inch hooks. And tasted good to boot. After he shot he turned around and said the one that was with that one was bigger but he couldn't get a shot at it. Now I'm going to have to go over there and hunt all week until I get it. Gonna have to teach the boy how to use a slate call so he can return the calling favor as well.
