Boys I got us some fresh meat this morning. Had an ole possum run right out in front of me on the way to work. That'll go good with some taters and carrots in a stew pot. Course you'll have to go back and get it off the road if you want it.

coleman, be sure to put your name on ALL your pots so the mrs doesn't get mad for missing pots... oh, and so we all know who fixed what ... you sound like a guy i deer hunt with... he fixes coon, rocky mtn oysters, & knows what all else... i just stay away when he's cookin

Oh come on, Where is your sense of adventure. So I guess the BBQ'd Armadillo is a no as well. Pistol needs to come down this weekend or next week and catch a mess of fish out my pond so I have some fish to clean and bring. I can't seem to find time out of the saddle to go fishing. At least not yet.I think I'm going to grab a couple of sides of short ribs to go with the catfish. Local packing plant has some good stuff. Much better than grocery store fair. We buy all of our meat there. Their lean ground chuck is only 2.19 a pound. Pistol depending on when you come down you might check that place out. It's only about 8 miles from my house.

boys don't ever knock it till ya try it. some of the wierd stuff you'd think to eat isn't half bad. sure some of it has a funny **** to it but it still isn't that awful bad.

the adventure is the drive to find PW's place... i thought PW said this was going to be a fun family event, not mystery meat meal

what's the name of the packing plant... we've bought stuff from Forrest Meat Packing... my dad knows one of their kids from work
