You don't think the 62 will cool enough with Mach 4's? I just hope the 64 spools like my HX35 or close with the SS housing. Gotta do the clutch soon. Put th TST on 4/Smarty 9 and la' clutcho el' splippo!!!

The 64 will not spool anything like your hx35. It will be much slower spooling. Personally, with your setup and a standard I wouldnt go any bigger than a 6280. Unless you are constantly banging your shifter you will have spooling issues with a bigger turbo.

ps, I have been doing some 1/4 mile tests, just to check out the egt issues that everyone has been telling me that I am going to have,, well I have yet to hit 1500 in the 1/4 and some. And according to the edge I am hitting 11.8 (as accurate as the edge is, but I am optomistic for some good times this year)

Oh,,and I would look for other options than the tst,, I really think that there are much better options than the tst for your application

I agree, a p-pump would be trick on your engine.

ph4tty did something like 492 with the HRVP, smarty, m4's, and a PS64. With your TST, would probably be close to 550 or so with the air, I'd think. 62 (according to PDW) is around the 550-575 mark with decent EGT's. Obviously, Kevin has done better, but his truck is a different beast entirely. I'd personally go with a 62, unless I had the cash this minute, then I'd be all over that 64 turbo. Thats too good of a price to pass up.

I can handle the 62 being 300.00 more. I'm going to go for the 62/14 ss and will upgrade it if it's too hot on the top end. As for my TST Kevin, it's a way better fuelin box than anything else. The TST for the 2nd gens is so much different than the 3rd gens. It's a simple fueling box that hammer's out the fuel. I have an edge comp in the garage for a good reason. I have ran every fueling box except for the quadzilla and the Redline. I feel the TST/Smarty is the strongest combo after all the playing around. I want to try the HTT instead of the Phat Shaft. The price difference and the customer service is supose to be uncomparable. As for the p pump conversion, I'm waiting for the new Hot VP to come out. When I get my 3rd gen, I will not run a TST as I have seen how they do the "Learn" thing. Thanks Kevin, Tate and all the other Alberta boys for all the great help and advice. Hope to meet up for supper and drinks soon hopefully here in Red Deer.

Off to work. Talk to you guys in a couple weeks.

Dr. Evil, I've got you're number. If Youngstown is too much for me, I'll give you a call about that place in Hanna.

Tate, the problem is Youngstown won't be enough.

Be safe!

Not sure on that one. There are guys running DDP4 with HX and just housing changes. I can still hit 1400 on a WOT run with this thing so I am a little worried about injectors at this point of any size.

Oh, and good luck in Youngstown.

Is there any body that has run a set of ddp4? I'm interested in getting another set and was thinking about getting either a set of mach 4's or the ddp4's. As for the p pump thing I think that ddp builds a pretty hot p pump. I have a set of injectors set-up for that pump. I'm just worried that my smokey beast will only get worse. Lenny at ddp told me that my hp would pick-up in thoughout the entire rpm range. Hopefully this would mean less smoke and a faster spool-up. It was a good sales pitch and for only $3600usd with no core.
