Well, I'm hoping for one of them soft chairs one day. Have a position for me? My hard work will prevail one day hopefully.

It's just the potential Mike, we're drilling, so, we shouldn't ever see it to surface, but the potential is always there. Thus, an ERP well.

It's alright though. The crews are great - training the beegeezers out of them. Almost got my dayshift crew putting on an SCBA as quick as me. I like to think it's from a good trainer. A couple days ago it was ugly.

Lots of people forget how much work goes into those oil bucks we get. I've seen a few people go down from the sour stuff. I remember getting a shot once. I got lucky and the air cleared up. I've smelt enough sour gas and sulfur oxide to last the rest of my life. Good luck with the job. Most of the money these days is in the construction phase or sales.

Hey Oilcountry

I'm working with a buddy out in B.C. ,that runs an off-road fab shop, on a removable no-drill light bar for the front of our 2nd Gen's.

It's still in a design stage at the moment but it should be coming soon. I want it removable for maintenance, one less thing to have to work over. It will also bolt up threw the bumper cooling holes so there are no holes to drill.

Don't know what kind of a time frame your working with to get a light bar, but I can let you know when it shows up.

Hi Jeff

Count me in as well. I have looked all over for a light bar for a sport and "no can find". Don't want to go the headack rack route. Definitely interested!!!!! Keep us informed!! I am sure Oil and I aren't the only one's interested.

Me too Jeff.. I would like to have a better place to put bigger lights up front, but a full grill bar just isn't what I am interested in. Sounds like a good idea.

Roll bars illegal eh? Hmm, didn't know that..

I can't go bull bar with the sport front end unless i hack up the bumper, but yea the roll bars are becoming illegal i called around, and a couple shops have heard of the rules but most havent yet. The one shop tonka 4 wheel which i have always had great service at and continue to go to is asking 1200 for a stainless steel roll bar with the light bar attachment..... which is retail value (i doubled up with the interent cause i thought they were trying to screw me)

Homestead.. will this fit the sport models? just wanted to know cause i am going out to check the headack racks this weekend to see if there are any that dont look retarded, and how many lights??? i want to mount 4 of them. Roof mounted i am going with 2 8'' in the middle and 2 6'' on the outside but front mounted will be 4 6''.

thanks for all the help and information.

i will let you guys know if i find anything for our loveable sport trucks!!!!

Guys,

Have a look at this:

http://www.randyellisdesign.com/Dodg..._light_bar.htm

Not sure if it will work with a Sport (I kinda doubt it)...but you might get some ideas from this...or be able to build something similar.
