Got my vote.

And as of right now, pitstopped in FSJ for the night, on the way HOME!!

I believe I've forgotten what my house looks like.

Maybe someone saw the desertion and has moved in.

Jordan,

I believe something else has developed after your turbo install if everything WAS going good after the turbo itself.

I'd certainly be checking for exhaust restriction...either muffler or brake. Also, OTR trucks temps get extremely high real quick with the smallest of intercooler leaks.

Just something else to look into.

Havent got around to building a leak tester yet, been working. But it will hit 36 psi under completly stock fueling. At that psi, I would guess there isnt any leaks, but who knows until I pressure it up.

Still have the stock elbow in/tst out, and can consistently hit 1250 when pushed hard. Checked exhuast and its fine, nothing collapsed.

Hmmmm.......you got one of those ghostly type dilenmas Jordan! I'll try to ask around when I get back home......my cousin used to work on the Cummins diesels at Derrick in Edm. I'll see what he has to say.....let you know if it seems remotely useful.

I used to work at the truck engine shop at Finning here in town, I tested class 8 truck intercoolers all the time. The test kit was home made, get chunks of tubing weld a bead around one end for the clamp to grip, cap the end and seal weld. one had a bung for NPT air fitting. Need regulator and ball valve inline. The test was 20psi, close ball valve, cannot lose more than 5 psi in 15 seconds. (IIRC) thats off the top of my head numbers might be a little skewed. but its really close to that. most had some leakage.

Now that I'm off, not a post in two days!

Worse than women I tell ya!

Looks like you're on your way to winning TOM, Kevin. Congrats. Two Canadians, and even better, two Albertans in a row.

Got in to Calgary this morning at 4 am. Got some lovely sunburn. I didn't bring back any cigars. But if you want some, my parents are going down in 2 weeks. A box of Cohiba's are going for 448 CUC, which is just shy of $600. A 26 of rum is 3 CUC. The resort we were at was filled with couples. Weren't many singles there, and the ones there were from Quebec. Wish I paid attention in french class a bit more.

Luke, how did you exams go? A couple more weeks and you should have your papers. Mine showed up this week, I passed. Yay for me!

On a side note, anyone know of a good paint stripper? A lot of the black paint on my pump is flaking off, want to strip it completely and make it pretty. Don't want to hurt any of the metals on there though.

Hay, sounds like a good trip any ways. I wrote my Redseal today, time to wait.

I've got a gasket stripper thats works great on stripping paint from metal.

...and If you talk to Bio Dave soon tell him I've got a high pressure AC line for him. I try calling his place a couple times, but no answer.
