We get out to Buffalo Lake at least once a year at Rochon Sands. The North end of the lake doesn't have much for Camping..

Need a guy who knows what's goin' on in the safety department also??

You should see the nightmare I'm up against this job. I swear they send the idiot consultants to the far North. I've got more experience in the patch than the co. rep.

Whats up Festus? I run into so many young consultants that are fresh from school and have never seen a rig before. It's sad that they get paid so much for not knowing squat about hands on!!!!

Lord no! Before coming up to Fort Nelson to take over days on this problem job (sorry, "adventure"), I put on 3000 km running between Peace River, Grande Cache, and SW of Chetwynd doing performance audits on some newer guys.

I wish I was back near GP - they truly tend to be smarter the farther south you go - as you know. Unfortunately, I truly believe it rubs off on the crews.

So, need a safety guy?

Head office is Airdrie. I'm based out of Drayton on the field side and Edmonton on the plant side. I can honestly say the company itself is OK to work for - HSE has made me a substantial offer more times than I have fingers and toes to count on, but I'm still here. They do look out for the guys - that's one of my mandates as one of a few Field Coordinators, on top of numerous other responsibilities.

That's why I'm here in G.P. Taking care of business and my boys... We are not big enough to take on another HSE manager. Sure will be a long break up here in G.P. if the snow doesn't stop???

Yes I do. I thought I mentioned it at supper after the GTG, but I may not not have.

And keep me in mind if you hear of anything - I think I'm due for a change - not that I don't like or enjoy what I'm doing, just a slight change.
