Not to be a wise guy or anything, but disconnecting the battery on a running truck COULD waste your alternator- it's a no-no. That's what has been preached to me. Never had it happen, never seen it happen. Sure don't want to find out the hard way, though Is this truck STILL running?? It's been a long time, might have to fill it up this week Jim
